1. CONTEST PERIOD
The “Passport to Legion Week” Contest (the “Contest”) begins on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 9:00 am, ET and closes on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 5:30 pm, ET (the “Contest Period”). Stamps may only be earned, and are only valid, during the Contest Period.
2. SPONSOR
The Contest is organized by Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 187, located at 92 King Street East, Colborne, ON K0K 1S0 (the “Sponsor” or the “Branch”).
3. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to individuals who:
-
are current members of the Royal Canadian Legion in good standing — membership in any Legion branch qualifies, not limited to Branch 187, and there is no residency requirement; and
-
have reached the age of majority in Ontario (19 years of age or older).
Individuals who are not already Legion members may become eligible by signing up for a free Royal Canadian Legion membership at any Legion branch, offered as part of the Royal Canadian Legion's Centenary year promotion. There is no deadline to join: an entrant may become a member on the last day of the Contest Period, earn a Stamp that same day, and still be eligible to win.
Directors, officers and employees of the Sponsor who are directly involved in administering the Contest or conducting the draws, and members of their immediate family (parent, spouse, sibling or child) or household, are not eligible to win a prize.
4. HOW TO ENTER
To enter, visit Royal Canadian Legion Branch 187 at 92 King Street East, Colborne, ON K0K 1S0 during the Contest Period and pick up a Legion Week Passport (the “Passport”).
An entrant earns one (1) stamp in their Passport (a “Stamp”) for each of the following, each time it is completed on a given day during the Contest Period:
-
making a qualifying purchase at the Branch (e.g. lunch, a donation to poppy fund, a meat draw ticket); or
-
simply visiting the Branch and taking part in a scheduled Legion Week activity that day (e.g. karaoke).
An entrant may earn more than one (1) Stamp on the same day by qualifying more than once (for example, a purchase and a separate visit). There is no cap on the total number of Stamps an entrant may earn during the Contest Period. NOTE: because Stamps can be earned either through a purchase or simply by attending, this Contest is being structured as a licensed raffle rather than a free "no purchase necessary" promotion.
5. STAMPS = BALLOTS
Each Stamp earned during the Contest Period is one (1) ballot (“Ballot”) toward the prize draws described in Section 6 and Section 7. All Ballots go into a single draw pool — there is no minimum number of Stamps required to be eligible for any prize, including the Grand Prize. The more Stamps an entrant collects, the more Ballots that entrant holds, and the greater that entrant's relative chance of being selected in each draw. There is no limit on the number of Ballots an entrant may accumulate.
6. PRIZES
(a) Grand Prize — 7-Night RCI Resort Condominium Accommodation.
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $2500 CAD. Value varies depending on the destination and unit size (one-, two- or three-bedroom) selected at the time of booking and is not fixed by the Sponsor. Accommodation only; transportation, meals and other travel expenses are not included. Subject to availability and applicable booking conditions. Generously donated by Senior Helpers of Northumberland.
(b) Second Prize — 65" Nano 4K Smart TV.
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $700 CAD.
(c) Third Prize — 60-QT Kaila Rotomolded Cooler.
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $350 CAD.
(d) Remaining Prizes.
Two (2) $100 gift cards (ARV $100 CAD each) and one (1) Legion swag bag (ARV $100CAD).
Total approximate value of all prizes will not exceed $5,000 CAD.
Each entrant may win a maximum of one (1) prize during the Contest. All prizes must be accepted as awarded; no substitution or cash equivalent will be provided except at the Sponsor's sole discretion, in which case a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted.
7. WINNER SELECTION PROCEDURE
All draws will take place on OCTOBER 3, 2026 at 5:30 pm ET, at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 187, 92 King Street East, Colborne, ON K0K 1S0, using the single pool of all Ballots described in Section 5. One Ballot is drawn at random for each prize, in the following order, until all prizes have been awarded:
-
Grand Prize (Section 6(a));
-
Second Prize (Section 6(b));
-
Third Prize (Section 6(c)); then
-
each of the Remaining Prizes (Section 6(d)), one draw per prize.
Ballots belonging to entrants who have already won a prize remain in the pool but are not eligible to win again. Should such a Ballot be drawn, it will be set aside and another Ballot drawn in its place, so no entrant can win more than one prize. Prizes are awarded strictly in the order set out above and are not exchangeable: each winner receives the specific prize tied to the draw in which their Ballot was selected.
8. ODDS OF WINNING
Odds of winning depend on the total number of Ballots in the draw pool and the number of Stamps accumulated by each entrant relative to other entrants.
9. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE CLAIM
Winners will be notified by BY PHONE and EMAIL (if provided) within SEVEN days of the applicable draw and will be required to provide identification confirming eligibility. Winners may be required to sign a declaration of eligibility, a release of liability, and a consent to the use of their name, voice, image and/or likeness for publicity purposes related to the Contest, without further compensation. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within SEVEN days, or does not meet the eligibility requirements in Section 3, that entrant forfeits the prize and an alternate Ballot may be drawn in accordance with Section 7.

This raffle is conducted under Ontario lottery licence number # M676004, issued by TOWNSHIP OF CRAMAHE / AGCO] on JUNE 1, 2026. The Sponsor will maintain records of Stamps/Ballots issued, conduct the draw as a witnessed event, and file any post-event report required by the Licence.
