Ed Quinlan

Public Relations / Technology / Hall Rental

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 187, Ontario

Ed is responsible for public relations, technology services, and hall rentals at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 187 in Ontario, supporting the branch’s operations and strengthening its connection to Veterans and the local community. In this role, he helps ensure effective communication through website, social media apps and reliable systems, and well-managed facility rentals that allow the branch to remain an active and welcoming hub for community engagement and remembrance.

This is Ed's first year on the executive.

What excites Edward most about this journey is the opportunity to give back to the community that has shaped so much of his life.

Professional, Ed is the owner of HQ Enterprise, Inc. and Senior Helpers of Northumberland.

Beyond his professional role, Edward is a proud husband, father, and grandfather. He and his wife of 22 years, Natasha, have raised two wonderful children—Kelly and Tyler—and now delight in spending time with their grandson, Haiden. Their home is lively and full of love, shared with three dogs and two cats who bring joy, companionship, and the occasional bit of mischief.

In addition Ed currently serves as the Past-President of Baseball Ontario, helping guide the next generation of athletes since 1998, and as Treasurer of the Cobourg District Historical society.

In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, especially fishing, camping, and exploring new places with his family.

Through every facet of his life—from caregiving to coaching to community service—Edward lives by a single principle: caring for others matters
