Our Legion Branch is proud to recognize the talented students from Colborne Public School and Northumberland Hills Public School (Castleton) who participated in this year’s Legion Poster & Literary Contest.
Every year, students submit poetry, essays, and artwork, and our branch selects the top entry in each category to advance to Zone competition.

Today’s Presentations – Colborne Public School

This morning, we visited Colborne Public School to present awards to their students who placed at the Branch level:

🏅 Richard Hennessy – 3rd Place, Junior Poster – Coloured
🏅 Jordan Chochrane – 2nd Place, Intermediate Poster – Black & White
🏅 Ivy Morford – 3rd Place, Intermediate Poem

Their creativity and thoughtful reflections on remembrance were truly impressive.

Note: Although we do have photo consent, we chose not to include the students in the photo out of respect and to keep the focus on sharing the results of the contest.

📍 Next Stop – Castleton (Northumberland Hills Public School)

We will be at Northumberland Hills Public School on February 4th to present awards to the winners from that school as well.
We look forward to celebrating their achievements and sharing an update afterward.
